GSC’s history starts in 1952 at the incorporation of the family business Gebr. Clementi that is since then active in the cultivation and worldwide sale of fresh fruit. Over the last decades, through the acquisition of several add-ons as well as investments in real estate and infrastructure, the company has been growing to an established group. Today, the group is led by the third generation and ranks among the four largest private players in Italy.

In 2008, the group developed its first solar-PV plant on the rooftop of one of its production halls and now holds a portfolio of 7 plants operating completely net zero. Today, the group has its own energy division, GSC Development, active in the development and management of energy infrastructure investments.

Due to its industrial family company background, GSC knows exactly what it takes to operate and grow medium-sized businesses. Through partnering with business owners in Northern Italy, GSC intends to support them to reach the next growth stage while maintaining the legacy of the company.
